At Hexspoor, we believe it is important to make a positive contribution to society. That is why we support the culinary event De Proeftuin in Boxtel, organized by the volunteer group Lionsclub Boxtel Belles Amies.
This annual event raises funds for a different charitable cause each year. Local entrepreneurs serve small dishes, combined with a lively atmosphere, music, and fun activities for children, all taking place on the grounds of the creative vocational school SintLucas.
This year’s proceeds will go to Stichting Maatschappelijke Opvang Den Bosch. This organization supports people who are temporarily without housing or in need of additional assistance, helping them regain control over their lives. Based on the “Housing First” principle, they provide suitable housing as quickly as possible, complemented by accessible and personalized guidance aimed at long-term stability.
They focus on the strengths and capabilities of each individual, tailoring support to every unique situation. Attention is also given to children and parents in shelters, and people with lived experience are involved to support recovery.
Together with municipalities, healthcare institutions, and other partners, they work towards a society in which everyone has a safe place and the opportunity to live independently. Through De Proeftuin, we are proud to contribute to this important cause.
The event will take place on Sunday, April 12, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the garden of SintLucas in Boxtel. It promises to be an enjoyable day with great food, a relaxed atmosphere, and of course the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution yourself.
