RIPE NCC is an independent, non-profit member organisation that supports the Internet’s infrastructure. RIPE NCC is currently constructing the largest Internet measurement network even by means of a global network consisting of ‘probes’. These probes track Internet connectivity and accessibility and offer profound insight into the state of the Internet in real time.
RIPE NECC supplies ‘probes’ across the globe. Thousands of units are sent each year and shipments may consist of just a few items of numerous ones per address. Hexspoor performs fulfilment services across the globe. Deliveries are made in Europe, the Middle East and parts of Central Asia.

Probes are scanned by Hexspoor before they prepared for transport so that the probe ID can be linked to the delivery address. The exchange of data between Hexspoor and RIPE ensures that RIPE has constant access to up-to-date information in their system which informs them which probe is active at which address. Hexspoor also deals with any returns.
